Thank you for the overwhelming interest in our Summer Day Camp! Due to the high volume of registrations, our camp is currently full, and online registration is now closed. While we cannot guarantee additional availability, families who are still interested are encouraged to reach out to Camp Director, Jordan Osborne, at Jordan@athensymca.org to be added to our waiting list.
CAMP KELLEY 2025: NO PLACE I'D RATHER BE
Did you know that Camp Kelley has been a summer tradition for 89 years? Modeled after our beloved overnight camps, Athens Y Camps, our program brings the adventure, character-building, and outdoor fun of a residential camp to a day camp setting—right here in our community!
At Camp Kelley, kids don’t just pass the time—they grow. Through engaging activities like swimming, sports, arts, outdoor exploration, and team challenges, campers build confidence, friendships, and lifelong memories. This is not babysitting—it’s an immersive camp experience designed to inspire and develop young people.
We offer convenient hours (7:50 AM – 5:45 PM) to fit your family’s schedule, ensuring a safe, enriching, and active summer for your child. Registration begins April 14th!
The lottery for summer day camp 2025 closed on March 21st. Please check our website on May 12th for information regarding a potential second round of financial assistance. We cannot guarantee a second round.
Need to cancel or change your camp registration? Click here. Requests must be submitted by 9 am the Thursday before the week you want to cancel or change. All program changes take two business days to process.
Take a Camp Kelley virtual tour! Coach Jordan and Coach Erin will take you through the commonly used places for campers. Please email jacqueline@athensymca.org for the password.
Please note: these tours show the flow of summer day camp. Youth programs are similar, but not the same. These tours are a great tool to show your child check-in, pick-up and the locker rooms. Coaches will be there to escort your child through every step.
Sports and specialty camp hours are 9 am to 12 pm. Online registration begins Monday, April 14th. The Y will offer a discounted rate of $80 to those wanting to attend day camp after 12 pm. If you want to attend both a sports/specialty camp and day camp, please register for both and Athens Y staff will adjust your day camp fees!
Sports Camp Cost: $125
Specialty Camp Cost: $140
