Child Watch

The Athens YMCA provides Child Watch services to those with a family membership. Our goal is to provide a safe, fun and friendly environment for Y children as families strive to live a healthy lifestyle.

Hours of Operation:

• Monday - Friday: 8:30 am to 12:15 pm; 3 pm to 7 pm
• Saturday: 9 am to 12 pm
• Sunday: Closed

Ages & Time Limits

Child Watch is available for children 6 weeks to 12 years old. We encourage 12-year-olds to work out with their parents. Each child is able to stay in child watch up to 2 hours. 

Please note: child watch operating hours are subject to change due to inclement weather, schedule maintenance, cleaning and sanitizing, or unsafe conditions. 

Membership Location & Guest Policy

Children and families who use Child Watch are required to have a family membership at the Athens YMCA. Guests and out-of-town visitors are not permitted to use Child Watch.
