Meet our Staff Spotlight: Naaman Castro! Naaman is a long-time Y kid who currently serves in our Leaders in Training and Junior Lifeguard programs. In February, Naaman achieved the rank of 3rd Degree Black belt. He has been practicing TaeKwonDo since he was 4 years old, is a 5 time Athens TaeKwonDo Invitational Tournament Grand Champion, and has been an Assistant TaeKwonDo Instructor for 3 years. Naaman is the first Athens YMCA TaeKwonDo student to go from white belt to 3rd Degree Black belt. We are so proud of him and this huge accomplishment. Way to go, Naaman!
