Parent + Child

We are excited to offer something brand new for Spring 2024: Parent + Child Music and Movement with Coach Jordan! Designed for children ages 2-4, this class will encourage you and your child(ren) to explore musical patterns, develop fine motor skills, and expand a love of movement together. This program is open to both Athens YMCA members and non-members!

Spring Sessions

• Session 1: March 1st, March 15th & March 22nd
• Session 2: April 12th, April 19th & April 26th

Class Day & Time

Fridays from 10:15 am - 11 am

Ages

Children age 2 - 4 and their parent or guardian

Cost

• $25 per child for members
• $50 per child for non-members

Registration begins February 1st using your online account!

About the Instructor

Our Senior Program Director Jordan Osborne is excited to pilot the Parent + Child Music and Movement program at the Athens YMCA! She started her dance career in the first grade and has expertise in a variety of styles including ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, lyrical and musical theater. During her time at UGA, she was a member of UGA's Ballroom Performance Group (where she wore a YMCA cheerleading jersey in her final performance). In addition to dancing herself, Jordan has taught dance to students ages 3 through 18. She currently teaches dance in our afterschool programs. She is excited to bring her technical expertise to our youngest members and their families through musical patterns, fine motor skill development, and a love of movement!
